Come discover hand made, hand painted 3 dimensional Spanish wall art ceramic tile. It is from the Ceramica Convento Jesus Maria in Aracena, Spain.
Handcrafted in a fifteenth century Spanish Convent near Seville built before Columbus sailed to America, each of these limited production replicas is lovingly hand made and hand painted by gifted artists to capture the joyful and beautiful "ambiente" of graceful living.
The painted details of these pieces are very elegantly done. Great care went into every aspect of constructing this final product.
These tiles are new. The condition of these tiles are excellent with no chips or cracks. I have only a few of these particular designs. On some designs I only have one or two. These have been in our family since 1981.
Most of the wall art measures 5 5/8 " wide, 6 1/8" tall and 1/2 " thick. There are also a few smaller designs and also larger. The wall art has a wire staple embedded in the back to make it ready to hang on a wall. Also stamped into the back of the ceramic is the phrase of where it was made "Ceramica Convento Jesus Maria Aracena" and also "Made in Spain".
This original design is one of a unique collection, imported by our family and protected under the United States Copyright Statute, Title 17.
